About AIQQA
A qualifications body built for the age of AI.
AIQQA — AI Qualifications and Quality Assurance — exists to make AI capability something that can be evidenced, assessed and trusted. Anyone can get an answer from a model. We assess whether you can explain it, verify it and stand behind it.
Our mission
To make AI capability verifiable — through qualifications that assess judgement, require human accountability, and are shaped by the employers who rely on them.
Our approach
Judgement, not output. asdfsd
A model can produce a fluent answer in seconds. That tells you nothing about the person presenting it. Every AIQQA qualification is built around three demands, in order.
Explain it
Show how you reached the outcome, in your own words — not the model's.
Verify it
Check the claim against evidence before anyone is asked to rely on it.
Stand behind it
Take accountability for the decision you sign off. A human stays answerable.
Transparency
Where we are today.
We would rather be precise than promotional. This is the current status of AIQQA, stated plainly.
Regulatory status
Not Ofqual recognised — in development, building towards recognition.
Qualifications available
None yet. Nothing is open for enrolment or application.
Levels planned
Levels 1, 2 and 3
Assessment basis
Demonstrated competence, not completion
Human accountability
Required at every level
Shaped by
Employers and industry experts
No AIQQA qualification is currently regulated by Ofqual.
Governance
Who shapes AIQQA.
AIQQA is not written in isolation. The people who depend on the outcome decide what the outcome has to mean.
Employers
The organisations hiring and developing talent set the bar for what evidence is worth trusting.
Industry experts
Practitioners working with AI daily keep the standard current rather than theoretical.
Assessment specialists
Qualification design that holds up to regulatory scrutiny from the first level onwards.
Get involved
Help shape the standard before it is set.
We are looking for employers, assessors and practitioners who want a say in what verified AI capability should require.
